Canada Goose Europe AB
For more than 50 years, Canada Goose has been producing authentic extreme weather gear born of purpose and function, designed for those who need the confidence that come from quality. Beginning with a modest line of jackets and woollen shirts created in a small warehouse in Toronto. Canada Goose today has grown to be recognized internationally as the leading manufacturer of extreme weather outerwear in the world. We’ve kept our production at home in Canada because we believe that no one can do it better – but our products enjoy a truly global reach. Canada Goose is equally at home in the weather research stations of the frigid South Pole as it is on the windswept Iditarod dog sledding trial in Alaska, on movie sets in remote locations around the world, and in the most exclusive high-fashion centres. Wherever people need protection from the elements, top quality and iconic style, you’ll find Canada Goose.

When did you join EOCA? January 2011
Why our company is involved with EOCA? We want to take a more active part in the European Outdoor Industry and EOCA is one of the organizations we want to support
What else do we do to support conservation? We are actively involved in fund raising and developing awareness for the Conservation Alliance and Polar Bears International (PBI). Every year at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, we host the Canada Goose Cup which is a street hockey tournamnet through which thousands of dollars are raised for Conservation Alliance. Our CEO is Chairman of the board of PBI and we raise money for them through donation of a portion of the sales of special PBI jackets. We are also starting work with WWF to develop a 5 year sustainability program
Our best green product and why? We do not have a green product in the same sense as Patagonia has for example. All our products are made with Canadian down from approved farms where no live plucking is being done.

We’re delighted to have been supported by the European Outdoor Conservation Association, who have been
an excellent partner and whose support has enabled us to divert more much-needed funds into local projects.
